Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Returning Officer A Dodde Monday requested the Principals of all colleges of the district to ensure enlisting of teenaged voters without fail. He said youths are the country’s future and hence they should be engaged in the election process. He said the young voters should be informed about democracy and the election process. Voters should be educated so that they take interest in casting their votes, he said.
The DC said youths should be trained well since they play an important role in elections. He said gender ratio should also be balanced in the electoral rolls.
The meeting was also attended by the deputy development commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Sanjay Kumar, ITDA director Arun Walter Sanga, Deputy Returning Officer Priyanka Singh and all BDOs.
