Jamshedpur: A voters’ awareness seminar was organized under the SVEEP program at the Musabani Block of UCIL Bagjata Mines. The meeting was chaired by BDO Ajay Kumar Rajak. The UCIL officers and employees were informed about the cVIGIL app which was an important toll to inform the administration of any violation of the Model Code of Conduct that has been implemented.
The BDO appealed to voters to use their right to franchise during the forthcoming Assembly polls as each vote was precious. It was essential to ensure participation of all in the electoral process. “Use your constitutional right to vote on December 7. Ensure the formation of a strong democracy by participating inb the process,” BDO Ajay Kumar Rajak urged the UCIL workers and officials present at the seminar
In another meeting organized in the BRC Bhawan at the Block office, the BDO-cum-CO Ajay Kumar Rajak addressed teachers. He urged them to ensure a free, fair and independent election in their respective polling booths. In his address to the teachers, Rajak said, “It is your responsibility to spread awareness among voters in your booth areas and ensure that every eligible person casts his or her vote.”
