Jamshedpur, Oct 25: The two day Spandan Mahotsav which kicked off at Kadma-based Brahmolokdham, a unit of Beldih Kalibari and founded by Bharatiya Yugavashistha Brahmananda Sangha, on Thursday ended with cultural program on Friday, October 25.
Grand celebrations were held to commemorate the 85th birth anniversary of Srimad Brahmanand Shastri, former head priest of Beldih Kalibari.
On the concluding day of the festival a prabhat pheri was taken out from Brahmolokdham in Kadma. Later in the day a cake cutting ceremony was organized, food and clothes were distributed among poor.
The main attraction of the day was the scholarships distribution were students from various schools of the city were present and were given scholarship.
Fancy dress competition, cultural program and Mahaprasad at the end marked the festival. On the first day of the festival a blood donation camp was organized where Manvendra Bhattacharya son of the founder was present and a sit and draw competition was also held were students from several school of city participated.
Large devotees were present on both the day of the festival. .
