Jamshedpur, Oct 20: City-based social organization Samadhan is preparing for its fifth mass wedding ceremony. An introductory meeting of all 15 selected couples and their guardians was organized at Town Hall, Sidhgora, on Sunday. The programme was chaired by the outfit’s executive president Bina Arun Khirwal and conducted by general secretary Ankit Anand.
Anand said the outfit had organized the wedding of 58 couples in the last four years. This time too, the organization is preparing to organize the wedding of 15 couples, he said.
Anand said the Haldi, Mehandi and Sangeet rituals will be held on 16th November while the wedding will take place on 17th November.
Other organizers of the event included Dr Neelam Sinha, Kuljeet Sadana, Anita Vibhar, Sunita Sachdev, Amita Mahendru, Kiran Sao and Latika.
