Jamshedpur: Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma celebrated “Ethikos Day” at the school premises on September 22.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Chief Guest Rekha Seal, Director and the Principal followed by a mesmerizing musical dance performance by the students came with an important message that “We instill sense of patriotism with positive thinking”.

To inculcate ethical practices amongst all, a series of events were organised for the students of classes IX to XII, ICSE and CBSE Schools of Jamshedpur.

Various schools of Jamshedpur took part in Ethikos. For the event Ad ‘N’ ethics the participant had to enact an advertisement in the decade of 90s.
A Power Point presentation on Business ethics was another event wherein the budding talents participated enthusiastically.
“Logo-ing”, in this event participants had to design their own logo with a tagline.
Pocket Full of Words, a creative writing competition related to ethics.
The last event of the day was Ethical Manager, participants had to express their views on a given situation.

The programme successfully came to an end with a great zeal and enthusiasm by awarding the best performers of the various events.

The overall winner trophy was bagged by Sacred Heart Convent School and Runner up was Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS).

The Ethikos 2018 was well managed by Veena the coordinator of senior school and Jasleen Kaur senior teacher. Scouts and Guide students helped in conducting of the event.The Vote of Thanks was extended by the Headmistress, Jaishree. K

The day concluded with a happy note of encouragement. The teachers and students worked with great passion and endeavour to make this programme a grand success.
The Ethikos fest 2018 was conducted to sensitise students and teachers on Ethics.
