Jamshedpur: Rotary District 3250 Governor Gopal Khemka visited the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur and inspected the schemes taken up by the Club. He also participated in various projects in the city. Khemka accompanied the Femina members to the People’s Academy High School in New Baradwari and participated in tree plantation, inaugurated a hand wash station and laid the foundation for a girls’ toilet in the school premises.
The Rotary District 3250 Governor lauded the activities of Femina and observed that Rotary has been traditionally committed to the cause of the deprived segment of society. As a part of its commitment to the citizens of Jamshedpur, the Femina team presented a hearse to the Sonari Gurudwara. The key of the vehicle was handed over to the Gurudwara committee by Gopal Khemka.
He also met the Rotaractors and Interact members and had discussions with them after which he held a meeting with Femina members. Those present during the events included Sanjiv Thakur, Sharat Chandran, Lalita Shekhar, Hardip Bhamra, Mina Bugli, Gita Dubey, Pritha Dutta, Aparajita, Megha Tulsiyan, Shweta Garg, Priya Dharmarajan, Pasam Adeshra, Punam Dhawan, Srividya Narayan and others. The vote of thanks was offered by Mina Bugli.
