Jamshedpur: Rajendra Vidyalaya (RV) organised an inter school mathematical fest — Tesseract, a first of its kind in the school premises on November 6. More than 200 students representing 13 schools of Jamshedpur participated in the fest.
Total of six events were held during the fest including Mathematical Prodigy — on stage mathematical quiz, Consilium — logical and reasoning questions, Speed Cubing- to solve Rubik’s cube, Ruler of 4 Dimension — group discussion and debate about mathematical theories. The topic was “Banach Taraski Paradox”. Other event included Integration Bee – Question based on integration and Ultimate Tesseract showdown combined quiz for the finalist of mathematical prodigy and Consilium.
The Prizes were distributed by C P N Singh (General Secretary, Bihar Association), Rakhi Banerjee (Principal Rajendra Vidyalaya).
The programme was moderated by S.K Jha of Maths department and the
student coordinator was Siddharth Vats which saw active participation of the students of
class XI & XII.
Earlier, the Chief Guest for the occasion Vivekanand, secretary, school managing committee inaugurated the fest along with the school Principal Rakhi Banerjee.
