Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Chief Minister and Jamshedpur East Assembly seat candidate Raghubar Das returned to Jamshedpur late Friday 29 after campaigning for BJP candidates across the entire state. He managed to take time out of his hectic schedule to participate in a mass contact program with the voters of his constituency. However, senior party leaders and dedicated workers have been going about earnestly in campaigning for BJP and its Jamshedpur East seat candidate Raghubar Das.
Early morning Raghubar Das along with party leaders and workers turned up at Bagunhatu, Bagunnagar and Baridih Basti, taking the residents by pleasant surprise. A favourite of the denizens of these localities, people rushed around him to greet him. Each household emanated a radiance of pride and delight to see their favourite candidate standing at their door with folded hands asking about their wellbeing. Some shook his hands while some others embraced him. On his part Raghubar Das expressed his love and respect to all. He was blessed by the elderly in the colonies while he greeted women with folded hands.
At some junctures of his visit to these areas, the BJP candidate from Jamshedpur East constituency sat amidst the people enquiring about their wellbeing and reviewing the progress of the development schemes launched in Bagunhatu, Bagunnagar and Baridih Basti colonies.
Raghubar Das’ first stop during the mass contact programme was Bagunhatu. The people received him with the warmth reserved for a beloved family member. The residents of all the three colonies blessed him profusely and assured him of their votes with one elderly lady saying, “We are proud of your achievements as a Chief Minister and a concerned human being. We want to see you back as the state’s Chief Minister.” From the prevailing mood and atmosphere during Raghubar’s visit, one could make out that the lady voiced the support and expectations of all.
Among those accompanying the Chief Minister and Jamshedpur East BJP candidate Raghubar Das were Sanjiv Singh, Gunjan Yadav, Kamlesh Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Sushanto Panda, Santosh Thakur, Jivan Sahu, Kaju Sandil, Ruby Jha, Meena Singh and Kanta Devi.
