Jamshedpur: A grand procession starting from Adityapur Football Ground to Sakchi Maharana Pratap Chowk near the old court will be taken out on May 9 by the Hindu community members to commemorate Maharana Pratap’s Jayanti.
A meeting presided by Ranvijay Singh was convened today at the Sakchi Shitla Mata Mandir premises. Singh stated that for the past two years the procession had been organized by The Jharkhand Kshatriya Yuva Sangh but this year the whole Hindu community would be participating in the procession. “Hindus of all classes will participate in this procession because Maharana Pratap did not fight for any single class or caste of Hindus but for the whole community,” Singh said.
Among those who participated in the meeting were Jitu Singh, Manoj Bajpayee, Niraj Mishra, Harsh Agrawal, Rakesh Sahu and Vinod Rai.
