Jamshedpur, Dec 3: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar expressed gratitude to the people of Jamshedpur for attending the election campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, on Tuesday. He said the event was historic as no other event in Kolhan ever pulled such a huge crowd.
Kumar said PM’s arrival in support of the BJP candidates had sealed their victory at all 14 Assembly seats of Kolhan. He said there was a strong wave of public support in favour of BJP which had frustrated all opposition parties. He said over 70,000 people had gathered at Gopal Maidan to listen to PM Modi.
The dignitaries present on the stage with PM Modi included Chief Minister Raghubar Das, BJP national vice president cum Jharkhand Assembly election in-charge Om Prakash Mathur, BJP national secretary Suresh Pujari, state BJP president Laxman Giluwa, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, Rajya Sabha MP Sameer Oraon, Dhanbad Mayor Shekhar Agrawal, former state BJP president Dineshanand Goswami, Chandicharan Sao, Manish Ram, Uday Singhdeo and former MPs Abha Mahato and Shailendra Mahato.

They included CM Raghubar Das (Jamshedpur East), Devendra Nath Singh (Jamshedpur West), Laxman Giluwa (Chakradharpur), Kunal Sarangi (Baharagora), Muchiram Bauri (Jugsalai), Menka Sardar (Potka), Lakhan Mardi (Ghatsila), Ganesh Mahali (Seraikela), JB Tubid (Chaibasa), Gurucharan Nayak (Manoharpur), Sudhir Sundi (Jagannathpur), Bhupendra Pingua (Majhgaon), Jawahar Banra (Kharsawan) and Sadhucharan Mahato (Ichagarh).
BJP leaders greet PM Modi
PM Modi was accorded warm welcome on his arrival at Sonari airport by BJP leaders who included Kalyani Sharan, Rambabu Tiwary, Manoj Kumar Singh, Gurdev Singh Raja, Yogesh Malhotra, Rajkumar Singh, Dinesh Sao, Abhay Singh Ujjain, Khemlal Choudhary, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Gunjan Yadav, Satbir Singh Somu, Bharat Singh and Ramesh Hansda. Those who welcomed the PM at the programme venue included Sanjeev Singh, Vimal Jalan, Harish Chandra Behra, Sanju Pandey, Haradhan Das, Chitranjan Mishra, Bari Murmu and Sandeep Mishra. While seeing off the PM, many BJP leaders gathered at the airport. They included Chandrashekhar Mishra, Binod Singh, Nandjee Prasad, Kulwant Singh Bunty, Vimalkant Jha, Anil Modi, Ankit Anand, Shikha Rai Choudhary and Pushpa Tirkey. They presented roses to the PM who asked their names and wished them bright future.
