Jamshedpur, Dec 24: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar Tuesday said the results of Jharkhand Assembly elections did not mean the defeat of BJP. Rather, the results show how the Mahagathbandhan of opposition parties won with the help of appeasement and casteism-based politics. He said the BJP had got huge support of voters from Jamshedpur East constituency and many other constituencies of the state. But the opposition parties succeeded in spreading lies and rumours on various issues that misled the voters, he said.
Kumar said the BJP respected the mandate given by voters and was ready to play the role of a strong opposition in the state Assembly. He said the BJP would make a strong comeback in the coming days.
Kumar asked party workers not to be disappointed by the results. He said the party would review the causes of party’s defeat in the elections.
