Jamshedpur: More than 600 people visited the two-day special loan camp organized by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee at Town Hall, Sidhgora, on Wednesday. They were informed about the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme of the Central government being offered under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Today was the last day of the camp.
Special Officer Sanjay Kumar said the camp benefitted those who were planning to avail loans to build or purchase house. He said this is the best time for homeless citizens to avail home loans since the Central government is giving subsidy on housing loans.
Various banks participated in today’s camp. They included State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Allahabad Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, UCO Bank and Canara Bank.
The dignitaries present at the camp included JNAC City Manager Ravi Bharati, Konika Saha, City Manager Sonal Singh, Harikant Upadhyaya and Sanjeet Sahu.
