Jamshedpur, Oct 21: Jamshedpur FC Head Coach Antonio Iriondo on Monday said that the team’s commitment was cent percent and that the boys would give their all to take the team to the pinnacle and make the ever excited fans happy.
Addressing a pre-match press conference at JRD Tata Sports Complex, Iriondo stated that players had chosen Tiri as the main captain of the side and he would lead the team tomorrow.
When asked about JFC missing the playoffs twice, the Head oach said, “I don’t want to talk about the previous season as I aim to live in present and give the best everyday.”
“We will try to
defend when they attack us. But our goal is we would love to have the ball more
in 90 minutes than our opposition. For us, the most important thing is to make
our fans happy with our style of play,” said Iriondo.
“To win the first game, it is obviously the most nervous match. The players are working hard and are ready to take decisions (on the field) and understand the way we want to play,” he said.
Replying to a query on the preparations, the gaffer informed, “We have been training here for over a month and are happy with the pre-season as every match we have played has been better than the previous encounter and we are ready for the league.”
