Jamshedpur, Jan 7: Members of various bank unions and employees of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) took out a procession on the eve of nationwide strike called by them in support of their various demands. They announced to lend full support to the agitation and also read out their demands.

As per plan, the procession started at Central Bank of India, Bistupur branch, and culminated into a meeting in front of Bank of Baroda, Bistupur. The protestors staged demonstration against the ‘anti-poor’ policies of the Central government. They demanded revocation of ‘anti-farmer’ policies, amendment in labour laws and withdrawal of decision to allow FDI in public sector. The protestors included RA Singh, RB Sahay, Heera Arakne, SK Adak, Sujit Ghosh, KK Sahay, Rajkumar Mishra, Rajeev Jha, Mahima Prabhakar and Abhinav Jha.
