Jamshedpur : Three time chief minister and senior leader of BJP, Arjun Munda may have lost the assembly election this spell, but his popularity within the party remains intact.
Newly elected MLA’s from Icchagarh, Sadhu Charan Mahto and Laxman Tudu from Ghatsila have offered to vacate their seats for Arjun Munda provided the party leadership agree to make Munda as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
Speaking with the media persons Sadhu CharanMahto said that Jharkhand needs a towering person like ArjunMunda and the national President of the Party, Amit Shah should consider the matter.
It should be known that when ArjunMunda won the Parliamentary elections in 2009 and was made the chief minister in 2011, then also Mangal Singh Soy who was the MLA from Kharsawan left his seat for Munda to contest in the by elections.
Newly elected MLA from Jamshedpur- west,SaryuRai, assembly election coordinator, MurlidharKedia and incharge Dr.PrahaladBarnawal jointly through a press statement thanked all the voters , the workers , well-wishers who made possible the victory of SaryuRai.
Rai said that his win is a victory of the people of his constituency and his party workers. This was possible only because of the faith of the people in his party and devotion of his party workers.
He expressed his deep gratitude to all those who were directly or indirectly responsible for his success.
Rai said that he will ensure his best to answer all problems of his constituency and will accomplish all expectations of the people who have shown their complete faith in me.
