Jamshedpur: The National Rajput Karni Sena (NRKS) were elated at the central cabinet’s decision of 10 percent reservation for the Sawarn community. NRKS district president Sanjiv Singh led a team that distributed sweets to the people from the Sakchi roundabout.
Speaking on the occasion Sanjiv Singh said that the NRKS had been taking up important issues like reservation and presenting written protests to the government demanding reservation not based on caste alone but also for the economically weaker section of Sawarns. “Our persistence has paid off ultimately,” he said.
Others present on the occasion were Vinay Singh, Ganesh Singh, ana Singh, Sanjiv Singh, Ravi Singh, Lokesh Singh, Sandip Singh, Aman Singh, Amit Singh, Suraj Tomar, Jitu Singh, Shubham Singh, Vishal Singh, Vikas Singh and Vikram Singh.
