Jamshedpur, Feb 10: Under the aegis of Shree Shyam Pariwar Charitable Trust and Sakchi Shiv Mandir the 25th Shyam Mahotsav which kicked off at the Shiv Mandir on Sunday, Feb 9 saw several events on day 2 on Monday.

On the second day of the celebration a ritual procession was taken out in the morning hours while late in the evening Bhajans were played. On Tuesday, Feb 11 Prasad will be distributed among devotees at Jain Bhavan in Sakchi.

The procession taken out from Sakchi Shiv Mandir covered Sakchi market, Basant Cinema Road, Sakchi roundabout, Straight Mile Road, Kasidih and concluded at Shiv Mandir. Devotees were seen carrying 1100 flags making it a 2 km long line.

Tableux were also out during the procession nishans of Hanuman and Dwarikapuri attracted the most. At the concluding line of the procession vehicle of Shyam Darbar was decorated and moving swiftly. The organizers and Shyam devotees played a vital role in arranging everything so swiftly.

During the procession local artists Mahabir Agrawal presented bhajans of Baba Shyam and Hanumanji which forced the devotees to dance. At the event fireworks also took place at Sakchi Chowk, Chhau artists also presented dance. Chhau dance from Purulia, large flags, band parties and several others attracted the crowed attention.

Late in the evening Akhand Jyoti was lighted followed was a Kirtan event. Artists from Kolkata Jai Chaudhary, Pooja Agarwal and Sunil Agarwal performed. The artists performed till late in the night were devotees in large numbers were present.

To make the religious program successful Subhash Shah, Fateh Chandra Agrawal, Amit Shah, Kishan Canduka, Sunny Moonka, Makhan lal Modi, Govind Agrawal, Umesh shah, Rajkumar Chanduka, Suresh Agrawal, Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Ashok Kumar Khandelwal, Shankar Joshi, Mahesh Agrawal, Shyam Sunder Moonka, Rajkumar Chetani, Shubham Agrawal, Naresh Agrawal, Pavan Khemka, Pavan Sehriya, Kamal Naredi, Jitendra Debuka, Naresh Khandelwal, sawarmal Agrawal, kailash Khandelwal along with members of Shyam Pariwar Charitable Trust provided their full support.
