Jamshedpur, Dec 26: The nine day Shri Amba Yagna Nav Kundatmak Sahastrachandi Mahayagna and Srimad Devi Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagna under the aegis of Srividya Shakti Sarvswam of Chennai, will get underway at the Dhalbhum Club Ground opposite Sakchi Agrasen Bhawan from Saturday, December 28.
Vijay Guruji Maharaj will be the narrator of the Gyan Yagna and is scheduled to reach the city on Friday, December 27.
The religious ceremony will commence at 8 am on December 28 with Mangal Kalash Yatra from Sakchi Manokamna Mandir at 8 am. While the women devotees will carry water pots their male counterparts will hold aloft the sacred banners. This sacred nine day Mahayagna is being organized in the steel city for the first time by Srividya Shakti Sarvswam of Chennai. The Acharya will participate in the procession with Bhagwat in hand. Attractive floats will form a part of the procession. The procession will culminate at the Dhalbhum Club Ground where the event is being organized.
According to the schedule chalked out for the nine day Mahayagna, Yagna will be performed daily from 8 am to 12:15 pm and Guruji Vijay Prakash Maharaj will take up the Bhagwath session between 4 pm and 7 pm.
Popular bhajan singer from Hyderabad Sanjay Dahima will regale devotees with his presentation of devotional songs on the evening of Tuesday, December 31 between 8 pm and 1 am. The nine day event will conclude on January 5, Sunday at 12:15pm with Purnahuti.
