Jamshedpur, Oct 13: Chief Minister Raghubar Das Sunday exuded confidence about the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya in near future. He said hopes for a decision favourable to temple construction were high since the Apex Court was conducting day-to-day hearing in the case. He was speaking during Vijaya Sammelani organized at Sidhgora Town Hall.
Das said efforts were put in to arrive at a consensus decision on the temple issue but success could not be achieved.
The CM said the pran pratistha of a grand Ram temple would be performed near Sidhgora Surya Mandir in February next year. He said the temple would be a gift for the people of Jamshedpur. He said the state government promoted greater public participation in the implementation of development and welfare schemes. He said members of Muslim community in Ranchi had apprised the government of their decision against praying on the streets. He said it’s a good initiative. He further said that the state was on the path of development.
Other dignitaries present at the meeting included Kalyani Sharan, Gurdev Singh Raja, Dinesh Kumar, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Khemlal Choudhary, Chandrashekhar Mishra and Rajpati Devi.
Surya Mandir Committee member Kamlesh Singh today announced that popular singer Neha Kakkar will perform during Chhath at Sidhgora Surya Mandir on 2nd November. Another noted singer Shraddha Das will also perform on this occasion, he said.
Various BJP leaders announced financial aid for the religious programme going to be organized on the occasion of Chhath. MM Singh of NSPS gave Rs 1 lakh and one thousand. Other donors included Gurdev Singh Raja, Kalyani Sharan, Shivshankar Singh, Munna Agrawal, Kulwant Singh Bunty and Hindustan Mitra Mandal.
