Jamshedpur, May 10: Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) Steel City chapter’s seven-day online virtual summer camp for children between ages 4 to 16 concluded on a high note with the results being declared by the organizing committee. More than 200 children from Jamshedpur, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Ranchi participated in the various competitive segments of the camp. The judges for the various categories were fashion photographer Sanjay Sinha, film director Ajitabh Bose, chef Priya Gupta, choreographer Minakshi D Paul, creative artiste Nisha Jha, writer Rajiv Agrawal and poet Navin Agrawal. The programme coordinators were Animesh Chhapolia and Sunny Chowdhary.
MYM president Vishnu Goel and secretary Prashant Agrawal informed that this type of event was being organized by the group since the past 15 years but due to the coronavirus pandemic they had to fall back on the virtual mode. They said that even parents of the participants had enjoyed this endeavor. They also said that being under lockdown, MYM wanted the children to engage in creative activities instead of sitting idly at home and getting bored.
The participants were divided into three age groups. The MYM organizing team included Vishnu Goel, Prashant Agrawal, Animesh Chhapolia, Sunny Chowdhary, Anand Agrawal, Sarthak Agrawal, Ramesh Agrawal, Navnit Bansal, Rajiv Agrawal, Piyush Chowdhary and other members of the Manch.
