Jamshedpur, April 4 : A 45-year-old man, Noor Mohammed who was also JMM candidate in ensuing Municipal polls in neighbouring district of Seriakela Kharsawan was electrocuted while he was trying to tie a flag at his car in Kapali. During the mishap two others were also injured.
As the mishap took place, the family members rushed him to Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital emergency where the doctor on duty declared him as brought dead. The doctor soon informed the incident to the police which seized the body for the post-mortem.
An eye witness said that Noor was candidate of ward number 10 Kapali for ensuing Municipal poll.” He was tied party’s flags and banners when an overhead high voltage wire fell on him. He received fatal injuries and was rushed to the hospital”, he noted.
According to information, there are several houses built up in such a way that danger from live overhead power line always keeps hanging. Several houses have deviated from the actual building plan.
