Jamshedpur, Feb 26: Maintaining peace would be on the top priority of the district administration, said Balkishun Munda, who took charge as the new Additional Magistrate (ADM –Law and Order) of East Singhbhum on Wednesday, Feb 26. Munda who is an IAS officer of 36th batch of Bihar has served the district earlier also.
Munda was the Zonal officer at Chakulia-Bahragora during 1999-2000 and Block Development officer of Jamshedpur during 2003-05. In addition, Munda served as SDM during 2006 at Dhanbad, DPRO at West Singhbhum from 2007-09, Director DRDA at Sahenganj from 2009-11.
After taking over the charge, ADM while interacting with the media persons said that as he is familiar with the district the doing work out here will be little easier.
The residents of Jamshedpur have been very cooperative and helped the administration in every possible way and we hope the same cooperation in days to come. It may be noted that ADM Ajit Shankar has been transferred to West Singhbhum as ADC.
