Jamshedpur: MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato joined the ‘Mera Poudha, Meri Santaan’ campaign of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee on Monday. He supported the plantation drive started by the JNAC officials and gave away saplings to parents who had come to the JNAC office to get the birth certificates of their wards.
Addressing the gathering, the MP said the plan of JNAC to provide saplings to parents coming to take birth certificates was unique and would go a long way in conserving the environment. Mahato appealed to parents to plant at least one sapling on the birthday of their wards and look after them.
Many dignitaries were present on the occasion. They included Pawan Agrawal, Chitranjan Verma, Sanjeev Kumar and Mukul Mishra.
