Jamshedpur, April 19: The breathlessly awaited results of ‘Monologue Challenge’ organized by Media Mantra Acting Academy unearthed a plethora of fresh talents almost ready to give the veterans of this genre a run for their money. The prize winners apart, an acting enthusiast can take heart from the fact that all participants had the mettle in them to make it difficult for the elite panel of judges to decide the better among the best.

Coming to the prize winners, the top three female actors were Nisha Gupta of Ranchi, Rinki Kumari of Jamshedpur and Dipti Agrawal also of Ranchi respectively. Among the male competitors Sunjoy Dutta of Jamshedpur, Dipanshu Chatterjee of Ranchi and Kumar Gaurav of Jamshedpur were adjudged the top three rankers respectively. The heartening fact is that as per the urging of the organizers, the winners have pledged to utilize their prize money in aiding poor people hard-hit by the lockdown,  in and around their individual locality.

The basic point about such keenly contested events is that all are winners and there are no losers. The panel of judges comprised stage and film stalwarts of Jamshedpur Md Nizam, Shiv Prasad and Shiv Lal Sagar. The credentials of these three gentlemen of the performing media speak for themselves. They are also master trainers whose pupils have been making inroads into various national tinsel towns.

One of the very few guiding lights in the field of histrionics both, on stage and celluloid, thespian Hari Mittal is known for his ingenious ways to dig new talents and this Monologue Challenge was one such venture. The excitement it evoked was tremendous.
