Food Minister inaugurates free limb implant camp of MYM at Chamber Bhavan
Jamshedpur: State food supply and consumer affairs minister of Jharkhand Saryu Roy here on Monday inaugurated the free artificial limb implant camp of Marwari Yuva Manch, Jamshedpur branch, at Chamber Bhavan, Bistupur.
In his address, Roy said that Marwari Yuva Manch had been organizing many socially beneficial events in the city. He said through such events the organization had set an example for the rest of the society to follow. He said the outfit had shown how to spend wealth for the welfare of the poor and needy people.
Roy announced to give a sum of Rs 50,000 to Marwari Yuva Manch from his MLA fund for organizing welfare activities.
Also present on the occasion was Ashok Bhalotia, president of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He said the Marwari Yuva Manch was doing a great job by providing artificial limbs to the physically challenged. Such activities should be lauded by one and all, he said.
Present as a special guest, ADM law and ordre Subodh Kumar said the Marwari Yuva Manch was helping the poor and needy in an unparalleled manner.
Manch members said the registration of physically challenged persons for limb implant would continue till 2 pm on Tuesday. As many as 70 people were registered today. Tomorrow, a ‘Chai Chaupal’ is going to be organized at Chamber Bhavan from 5.30 pm onwards. Many dignitaries have been invited to the event. They include SSP Anup Birthare, Dineshanand Goswami, Amarpreet Singh Kale, Dinesh Kumar, Nirmal Kabra, Umesh Sah, Kailash Seraiwala, Beena Khirwal, Prabha Padiya and Basko Besra.
