Demands action against those responsible for Tata Steel blast incident

: Taking a jibe at former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, the senior BJP leader Raghubar Das has said that the JVM leader Marandi is scared to loose in the next Lok Sabha election and that was the only reason why he has announced not fight for the polls and rather concentrate on Assembly elections.

Das noted that if Marandi claims to be so popular in the State, then why he is not contesting Lok Sabha election. Addressing the press conference Das claimed that Marandi has sensed his defeat in the upcoming polls that’s what stopping him to contest.

“Marandi has got mastery in playing ‘political sham’. On the one hand he teaches BJP a moral lesson and on the other he and his party was behaving as a B team of the Congress which was responsible for corruption and price rise in the country.

When a debate on these issues takes place in the parliament, Marandi shrewdly remains absent and out side the house he raises these issues prominently for political gain. And again his party supports and votes in favour of congress inside the house”.

To a query he said that Marandi’s claim of contesting all the 81 assembly segments alone in the next election was nothing but another ploy to help Congress.

JVM contested all the 14 Lok sabha seats in the state during the last general elections but won only one. It benefited Congress which was its ally in the last assembly elections.

Expressing confidence on the leadership of Narendra Modi, Das claimed that BJP will sweep on all the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand. The senior leader also targeted Hemant Soren Government. He noted that Chief Minister’s decision to celebrate the foundation anniversary for 15 days was a ploy to miss use Government’s fund.

He criticisied government for showcasing ‘fake’ development card. “ I am of the opnion that instead of beating drums about achievements of previous government, Soren must focus on his Government’s own schemes”.

Das also sought action against those responsible for the collapse of LD gas holder roof at Tata Steel plant. The leader said inadequate safety measures is one the reasons behind several injuries in the incident.

“Lack of safety measures is the prime reason behind high number of casualties.” He said that steps must be taken to enhance safety measures of the workers.
