Jamshedpur, Aug 18: Three persons were killed in separate incidents under Ghatsila sub division on Sunday. In one of the incidents, one Vijay Sabar allegedly beat his wife, Jyotsna Sabar (35) to death with the handle of an axe in an inebriated condition. He reportedly killed her for serving the food very late. The woman cried for help but no one came to her rescue. After committing the crime, the man covered the body with a cloth and decamped.
In the second incident, a woman, identified as Chengni Munda (32) reportedly committed suicide by hanging self to death from a roadside tree with the help of her sari in Hatiapata village under Gudabanda PS. Police suspect a family dispute led to the incident.
In the third incident, one person died in a road accident in Jairamdih under Dhalbhumgarh police station area.
