Jamshedpur, Oct 22: Madrasi Sammelani on the occasion of 17th Book Grant function submitted a report on the helping hand they provided to the families from Jamshedpur who is unable to provide education to their children on their will and also the medical expenses for them.

At the starting of the year applications were invited by Sammelani which created an education and medical aid fund in 1992-93.

According to report this year the fund provided Rs 3.10 lakhs to over 2000 children compared to Rs 2.83 lakhs to 1200 children.

Of the 2000 children benefiting this year 383 were directly getting aid that have assembled here through Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. A lumpsum amount was distributed to Bal Kalyan Vidhya Mandir Kadma, Tribal Educatuion Mission Kadma, Prem Jyoti Prangam School Sakchi and DBMS Lilliput School Kadma who had students of 190, 265, 500 and 800 respectively.
