Dream to see our kids represent Jamshedpur FC: Vice Principal
Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Football Club (JFC), in collaboration with Loyola School, Jamshedpur, has launched its fifth football school keeping in line with the vision of the club’s Grassroots Programme. The training center will cater to kids of the age groups U5, U8, U10 and U12.
In a landmark moment for the club, the club’s Head of Grassroots and Youth Development Kundan Chandra commented, “Keeping in the lines of the vision of grassroots football we set for the club over the last year and it’s heartening to see the fifth school being launched. We have qualified coaches now in Jamshedpur to help the kids realize their dream.”
While the kids enjoyed their time on the pitch, Loyola School Vice Principal (junior), Vineeta Ekka exclaimed her delight as she watched them play. She said,
“Jamshedpur FC has been pivotal in promoting football in the city. Children of the current generation are bursting with energy and football is a great way to channelize this energy. We are glad to collaborate with the club and thank them for setting a platform for the children.”
Loyola School Vice Principal (senior), Fr. Michael Fernandes said,” I am an avid basketball and volleyball player, so I understand the value of inculcation sports in the overall growth of a child. It’s our dream to see one of our kids can represent Jamshedpur FC and the national team in the future.”
Jamshedpur FC’s CEO, Mukul Choudhari added, “This is extremely heartening that our fifth school has been Loyola. We are highly motivated and committed in improving the grassroots structure in the city of Jamshedpur and the state of Jharkhand and envision to create young stars for the future.”
Jamshedpur FC is already running soccer schools at Mt. Litera Zee School (Mango), D.A.V. Public School (Bistupur), Kerala Samajam Model School (Golmuri) and D.B.M.S. Kadma High School.
