Jamshedpur: Social organization ‘Lok Smarpan’ led by Lalit Das and his team today presented winnowing trays and other necessary Chhat Puja requirements among devotees at the Shiv Mandir community hall situated in Babudih Ghat area.
Lalit Das said that Lok Samarpan participated in and shared the joys of the people on every festive occasion of the society.
Later, Das and his team participated in cleaning work at Babuddih Jharna Chhat Ghat and also inspected the Kanu Bhatta ghat to ensure easy access for devotees.
Das wished all denizens of Jharkhand a peaceful, pious and happy Chhat Utsav.
“Chhat is observed with utmost devotion with stress on cleanliness. As such the worshippers should be provided with clean banks where the Chhat rituals will be observed. All social organizations should come forward and share the responsibility to provide clean areas of worship,” he said.
The Lok Samarpan team included Niraj Kumar, Gyan Singh, Abhishek Agrawal, Pradip Dubey, Ritesh Dutta, Dev Kumar, Arnav Kumar and Monu Agrawal.
