Jamshedpur, Nov. 30: Graduation day is a time to reflect upon yesterday, appreciate today, and anticipate tomorrow.
The Graduation Ceremony of the Class X students of Little Flower School (LFS) is a very solemn affair which brings out an atmosphere of discipline and values instilled in the children through the years of their school. The year 2019-20 will see 132 students graduate from the hallowed portals of this institution. Graduates, their parents and guests filled the School Auditorium and lent grandeur to the programme.
The event this year was presided by Vina Mitra, General Manager, Engine Factory-JSPR Tata Motors Ltd. Mitra had delightful words of advice for the graduating students, and words of encouragement for the road ahead of them.
The lighting of the lamp, followed by a graceful dance to the sound of a sacred hymn, set the tone for the occasion. The ceremony was solemn and much appreciated by parents and guests alike.
The students today stand proudly in front of our principal, teachers, administrators, friends and families, hoping to have upheld the highest tradition and values taught to them at Little Flower School.
The highlight of the occasion was the distribution of awards – academic, extracurricular activities and conduct. The declaration and distribution of awards was the most exciting part of the programme, which left many in tears of joy.
