Jamshedpur: Celebration and jubilance was at its peak on Saturday when Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma held its annual Prize Nite ceremony. Ashish Mathur, managing director, Jusco was the chief guest for the occasion.
The wunderkinds who achieved flying colors and topped the chart were awarded for their splendid performance. In ISC (Science) – Mohit Das (city topper in bioscience), Commerce- Shivangi Srivastava and in Arts-Smita Pandey were awarded along with Shilpi Choudhary who was the topper in the ICSE (Science).
Rolling trophies were given to students who scored highest in different subjects in ICSE / ISC.
The other categories of award were Best Performance for Nursery to Std. III, Star Performance of IV to XI and Overall topper from every class.
Rolling Trophies for highest marks in ICSE 2017 were awarded to Kumar Ashish, Abhirup Chakraborty, Rounit, Smriti Karan, Abhirup Chakraborty, and Shilpi Choudhary.
In ISC 2017- Mohit Das, Shivangi Srivastava, Palak Sinha, Mohit Das, Aditya Pathak and Anshuman Parashar bagged the rolling trophies.
41Trophies in ISC and 67 in ICSE were handed out to students scoring 90% in different subjects.
Total no. of prizes awarded was 300. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the management, teachers and students and wished them a bright future.
Earlier, the Chief Guest lit the ceremonial lamp accompanied by the Principal of the school, Sharmila Mukherjee and the Director, Sharat Chandran Nair & other Dignitaries on the front.
This was followed by a welcome dance & song, performed by the school students. The Principal presented the Annual School Report. She highlighted the achievements of the school in the year.
