Jamshedpur: Members of Nagrik Sangharsh Samiti handed over a memorandum to DC, SSP and Railway au-
thorities to demand construction of a railway under bridge and overbridge near Tata Pigments and railway level crossing at Jugsalai.
The outfit members were led by Sardar Shailendra Singh. A deadline of a week has been given to the railway
authorities concerned. In case the deadline is crossed, the local residents will be launching an agitation to get their demands fulfilled.
“We will launch a public campaign to build a road parallel to the main road. Singh alleged that due to prolonged
neglect by the railway authorities concerned, the people of Jugsalai were suffering for the last several years due to increasing pressure of traffic and congestion on roads.
The condition worsens when rain water gets accumulated on the road up to a height of three to four feet near the underbridge.
