Jamshedpur, Feb 14: Vice President Venkaiyah Naidu will be arriving in Jamshedpur on 17th February. East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla convened a meeting here on Friday to discuss security and other arrangements in this regard. Senior district officials and representatives of Tata Steel were present at the meeting.

The DC said an elaborate security arrangement would be in place for the Vice President. Security forces would be deployed at various strategic locations across the city. CCTV cameras would be installed at various places to keep an eye on security arrangements during VIP movement. The DC directed the district officials concerned to make necessary arrangements to ensure foolproof security during Naidu’s visit. The VP will be participating in a programme going to be organized by Tata Steel. In view of his arrival, Jubilee Park would remain shut on 17th February, sources said.
