Jamshedpur: BJP workers from all over the state are upset over the alleged insult meted on Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The State Government failed to observe death anniversary in the Jharkhand Assembly Complex. Hurt by this attitude of the state government, the BJP Jamshedpur held a press conference at the district office in Sakchi, reminding the government of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s contribution to the creation of Jharkhand.
Addressing the press conference, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto said that the JMM, Congress and RJD’s government of the Grand Alliance of the great man accepted the demand of a separate state of Jharkhand for. Atal ji’s popularity cannot remain within the limits of any party. He strongly condemned the irresponsible statement of the Assembly Secretary in which he said that if we had known, we would have wreathed.
Mahto said that due to the unforgettable contribution of revered Atal ji, he is in the Jharkhand Assembly, the parties may be different, but such insensitivity of the State Government is the beginning of a wrong tradition in respect of great men.
Addressing the conference, State Spokesperson Kunal Sarangi said that the state government has forgotten Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister. It is unfortunate and condemnable to insult the great man who created Jharkhand. It is also an insult to the public sentiment of the entire state.
President Gunjan Yadav said that this discriminatory attitude of the Jharkhand government is enough to tell what is the difference between the BJP and other parties. The BJP honors those who work to send Shibu Soren to Rajya Sabha despite belonging to a separate party. After Babulal ji recommended the name of the venerable Shibu Soren ji, Atal ji does not have any objection in the name of Shibu Soren ji, it is enough to tell the vastness and political rites of BJP leaders and Atal ji’s heart. But what the JMM is doing in his honor today is a matter of seeing.
Former MLA Maneka Sardar and State Minister Rita Mishra also addressed the press conference.
