Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is putting pressure on the Congress party to ensure that the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat is given to the party.
District president of the party Ramesh Hansda today said that three party leaders had put forth their claim to the party ticket for contesting the Lok Sabha elections.
These leaders include Baharagora MLA Vidyut Varan Mahato, party central committee leader Mohan Karmakar and district secretary Laltu Mahato.
Karmakar has contested Assembly election from the Jamshedpur West seat earlier. He had secured around 8000 votes.
Hansda said the party will be celebrating the birthday and birth anniversary of party leader Sibu Soren and former MP late Sunil Mahato respectively on 11th January.
