Jamshedpur: In order to promote sports activities and give boost to the budding players, Jharkhand Government will set up Sports University in Jharkhand.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das said during the inauguration of the DP International Swimming Academy at NH 33.
He said that though Khel Gaon was set up during the National Games but its position in the absence of maintenance is deteriorating with every passing day.
He said that Jharkhand needs to refine it, it will be opened in the state university sports. They are also promote tourism in the state. How to develop the tourism sector in the State is being considered to promote employment.
He said that 32 per cent in Jharkhand are young and it is a great gift to the State and the people coming out of the state will illuminate the name of the country.
On this occasion, the director of DP International Swimming Academy director Rambalk Singh, BJP MLA Laxman Tudu, Chandra Gupta Singh, Manas Ranjan Singh, Sita Singh and dignitaries were present.
