Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand State Youth Congress Committee led by its state secretary Rakesh Sahu today paid tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Bhuyandih crematorium road roundabout. The team garlanded the statue of the freedom legend. Former minister Dulal Bhuiyan was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Rakesh Sahu observed, “Jharkhand state was created 18 years ago with the purpose of shaping the dreams of the children of the soil into reality. Unfortunately, most of these dreams remain unfulfilled. The progress of the state and its people has remained in the domain of select leaders. Jharkhand has been reduced to an experimental platform and no government has taken steps towards progress of the state and its people.”
Others present on the occasion were Sunita Chaudhary, Sita Ram Chaudhary, district secretary Kamlesh Sao, Sanjay Yadav, Rohit Sharma, Aman Kashyap, Ramu Sharma, Ranjit Gupta, Manoj Shah, Shrawan Shah and Abhishek Singh.
