Announces bonus of Rs 150 per quintal on paddy over MSP
Ranchi, Jan 17: Jharkhand Cabinet Thursday gave approval to a proposal for the development of airports in the state including the Dhalbhumgarh airport. Under the proposal, a Joint Venture would be entered by the government with the Airport Authority of India through a Memorandum of Understanding for this purpose.
In another major decision, the Cabinet announced a bonus of Rs 150 per quintal on paddy, over the Centre’s minimum support price of Rs 1,750 for Kharif cropsfor 2018-19.
The Centre has already announced a minimum support price of Rs 1,750 per quintal of paddy.
A total Rs 52 crore has been approved by the Cabinet, presided by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, in this connection, an official release said here.
In other decisions, the state Cabinet also approved the Icha dam project under Swarnarekha Multipurpose Project in Seraikela-Kharsawan. It also gave nod to Jharkhand State Housing Board Act (Amendment) Bill 2019. The Cabinet further decided to include sub-lease provisions in the process of lease bandobasti of government land in Jharkhand.
