Seraikela, July 17: Janata Darbar was organized at Birsa Munda Stadium in Maranghatu panchayat of Kuchai block in Seraikela-Kharsawan on Wednesday. Deputy Commissioner Anjanayelu Dodde was present on the occasion along with other district officials. He said the very purpose of holding the Janata Darbar was to ensure proper implementation of all government welfare schemes so that their benefits reach the target population.
Dodde said the state government was working on a plan to develop Kuchai. He said various government plans would be implemented in the block for the welfare of the people. He warned district officials concerned against showing slackness in implementing government schemes.
On the issue of power crisis, Dodde said the power woes of villagers would soon become a thing of the past. Defunct transformers and dilapidated power cables should be replaced within a week, he said.
The DC appealed to all farmers to apply for crop insurance scheme so that they are secured despite a bad crop. Applications would be accepted till 31st July, he said.
Dodde further spoke on toilet construction, pond construction, drinking water supply, Mukhyamantri Jan Van Yojana, Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana, Ayushman scheme, Birsa Awas scheme and other welfare schemes for SC and ST communities. He said special camps would be held for Aadhar and pension related matters.
