Jamshedpur, Dec 2: Stage has been set in steel city for the election meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow. Modi will address a public gathering at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, in support of 14 BJP candidates of Kolhan.
Thousands of people including BJP workers are expected to attend the event.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das visited Gopal Maidan to review preparations for the PM’s programme. He spoke to district administration officials, SPG officers and BJP leaders. He gave instructions to district officials and party workers regarding tomorrow’s event.
Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar said Modi’s programme would be historic for Jharkhand and would seal the party’s victory in the Assembly elections.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, state BJP president Laxman Giluwa, BJP national vice president Om Mathur, Suresh Pujari and all BJP candidates of Kolhan will share the dais with the PM.
Police officials reviewed security arrangements on the eve of PM Modi’s event at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur. Gopal Maidan was all decked up to welcome the PM. SPG personnel also performed mock drill for the arrival of PM’s carcade to the programme venue.
