Jamshedpur, Sept 11: The Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) Cadets won 5 gold and 2 bronze medals at the 4th All India IMF National Sport Climbing Championship at the Indian Himalaya Centre for Adventure & Eco-Tourism Sport Climbing Wall situated in Chemchey, Sikkim from August 6 – 8, 2019.
The Competition was held in two categories – Speed Climbing and Lead Climbing. Anisha Verma won Gold in lead climbing and Gold in speed climbing (Junior Girl). Anisha Verma was declared the best athlete with a new speed national record of 10:75 sec. Aman Verma won Gold in lead climbing and Bronze in speed climbing (Junior boys). Vidula Abhale won Gold in speed climbing and Bronze in lead climbing (Sub Junior girl).

In all there were 157 climbers from West, North, South, and Central Zones.
This is the best showing by TSAF Sport Climbing cadets in a National Competition with Anisha being voted as the best athlete and creating a new National speed climbing record of 10.75 sec breaking her own record of 11.75 sec.
