Jamshedpur, Oct 1: City-based budding writer Arindol Dey has come up with a book of poems based on the experiences of lockdown. After successfully launching his debut book ‘The Midsummer’s Dusk’, he set on the journey to find potential writers across the world to interact and to learn the real form of the art of writing. The book is a bi-lingual and has contributions from 42 budding poets from different parts of the world.

He, therefore, joined his hands with ‘The World of Hidden Thoughts Publication’, who assisted him to accomplish the task.

“The lockdown period has also been a phase of experiences. The journey of finding the writers across the world started when the entire earth was locked in the four walls of monotony due to novel coronavirus. I wanted to help the unrecognised writers to come to the spotlight and showcase their art of writing. Therefore, I took a solemn decision to help these unsung writers to publish their works in an international anthology. By his mentors’ advice, I organised an online writing completion. Best entries have found space in the book,” said Arindol adding that out of all best 42 creative writers and poets got the opportunity to be a co-author to his bilingual anthology.

His book ‘Belligerence: The Book of Struggles’ which reflects the diverse facets of inspirational poems crafted out of emotion and creativity. Every individual co-authors made their best attempt to depict fictional and non- frictional poetic tales of agony and resilience. The book is an artistic expression of endeavours, recognition in the world of façade, anxiety, dolour, complexity and resilience. Belligerence teaches one to be bold and affirmative towards one’s promises and commitments which further illuminates life with optimism, generosity and rewarding.

“ I feel that every endeavour has a different story to tell. We grow because we struggle, we learn, we reinvent and overcome our hindrances. Your life demands you to be striving and by working hard and playing smart to repudiate insecurities, selfishness and scorn. The ethos your life will furnish you with will one day become the major building blocks of success.  The book is available in Amazon.com, Google Play Books, Notion Press Online Store, Kobo and Pothi.com. In this book writers from India, Netherlands and Uganda contributed their lovely works,” noted the young writer.
