Leaders to converge at Shakti Kendra Conference on Feb 11

Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit of BJP is all set to host the Shakti Kendra Conference at Agrico Transport Maidan on February 11 from 11 am. The city is decked up with party flags.

The BJP district general secretary Anil Modi informed that Jamshedpur Mahanagar president Dinesh Kumar had taken it upon himself to ensure proper arrangements for the important party Conference. The party’s Kolhan Division in charge and parliamentarian Samir Oraon reached the city today and took stock of all arrangements at the venue for the Conference on February 11.

Anil Modi claimed, “In view of the forthcoming parliamentary elections, this Conference will prove to be a milestone in Kolhan.”

BJP national general secretary Arun Singh will fly in from Delhi to attend this vital Shakti Kendra Sammelan. He will hold a press conference at the Circuit house at 11 am.

The BJP district general secretary said that for the purposes of the general elections for Parliament and from the point of view of organizational requisites, Jamshedpur and Chaibasa Lok Sabha constituencies have been formed into a single cluster. Accordingly all Shakti Kendra and booth level workers and officials will participate in this Conference.

“A minimum of three Shakti Kendra representatives and maximum number of booth level party workers and officials including the district executive committee members, state level officials, members of the state committee, Morcha office bearers and other important officials of the party will participate in the Conference,” informed Anil Modi.

Former BJP district president and program in charge of the Shakti Kendra Sammelan Vinod Singh stated that important party leaders, ministers, parliamentarians and legislators would be present at the event to give guidelines to party workers and officials.

He informed that BJP stalwarts like Chief Minister Raghubar Das, party state president and parliamentarian Laxman Gilua, state vice president and parliamentarian Bidyut Baran Mahto, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Saryu Roy, state organizing committee general secretary Dharmpal, Kolhan in charge and parliamentarian Samir Oraon, state general secretary Dipak Prakash, Potka legislator Menka Sardar, Ghatshila legislator Laxman Tudu will grace the Conference.

He said that 12 thousand party workers and officials are expected to be at the Agrico Transport Maidan venue. A huge pandal has been erected to accommodate all participants. Sufficient number of chairs has been arranged for comfortable seating. Six large LED screens have been fixed to enable all to see the leaders speaking to them.
