Jamshedpur, Dec 18: The Jamshedpur Unit of Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan today was honoured with 11 awards for best performances in various fields of activity during the two day ninth state conference. The honours also include best unit of the state. The two day state conference held on December 17 and 18 was organized at Wedlock Resort in Dhanbad.
Jamshedpur unit president was the recipient of special honour. The 11 awards for best performance in the state included areas like eye donation, special activity, smart class, branch expansion, signature campaign, body donation and successful organization of the second state executive committee meeting.
The recipients included state Sammelan regional head Prabha Padiya and for Sarv Siksha Abhiyaan Samiti chief Sushila Khirwal. 40 branches of the state participated in the conference. Another major achievement of the Jamshedpur branch of Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan was the unanimous decision to appoint Kasidih resident Manju Khandelwal state president of the Sammelan for the term 2022-2024. The meeting named Renu Dudani as Jharkhand state president for the period 2020-2022.
Jamshedpur unit president Vibha Dudani said, “The prime reason for our unit winning record number of awards is that all of us sisters have been working unitedly and systematically. It is a moment of pride and a great honour for all of us.”
The Jamshedpur branch of the Sammelan was represented by president Vibha Dudani, secretary Bina Agrawal, treasurer Manju Musaddi, former national presidents Jaya Dokania and Lata Agrawal, state vice president-cum-regional chief Prabha Padia, state Sarv Siksha chief Sushila Khirwal and former president Manju Khandelwal.
