Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur got its first wet park at the Jubilee Amusement park which already houses a dry park.

Jubilee Amusement park the only amusement park in Jamshedpur achieved yet another feat by adding ‘Splash Zone’ — Water Park, within its premises.

The Splash Zone Water park fun ride was launched today by Chanakya Chaudhary, VP Corporate Services, Tata Steel. The Splash Zone Water Park has fun rides for visitors of all ages. It consists of a large pool of water with rainbow and wave slides, a rain dance floor, a small kiddies pool with aqua cycles, a multiple water play platform as well as a big tilting bucket, all with the aim of providing entertainment for families. Abhijit Dutta, Managing Director, Nicco Jubilee Park Limited welcomed the guests and took them around the facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Chanakya Chaudhary said “Earlier only dry Zone facility was available at the Park. With the addition of this wet Zone, there will be full entertainment available for the whole family. The launch today will benefit visitors who come to see the Illumination at the Jubilee Park and who can now see this facility also.” He added that he hoped that visitors would use the facility in the proper way so that everyone could have a safe outing.

“Jubilee amusement park is a landmark entertainment destination for the people of Jamshedpur and it has been our constant endeavor to attract the attention of the people of Jamshedpur and in this regard, we are pleased to inform the launch of `Splash Zone’ — Water Park, the newest addition to Jubilee Amusement Park from March 3, 2019. ‘Splash Zone’ — Water Park, will be open to public from March 4, 2019”, informed Abhijit Dutta, Managing Director, Nicco Jubilee Park

The ‘Splash Zone’ — Water Park is also equipped with facilties such as separate change cum shower room for men & women, locker rental facility with provision for purchase of swimming costumes and towels. Visitors may also bring their costumes and towels.

Visitors will have to pay minimum of Rs 250 to enjoy the wet and the dry park, informed an official.

Present on the occasion were Rakeshwar Pandey, B. K. Dinda, Rituraj Sinha, Amitava Baksi, and other officials of Tata Steel and Nicco Park.

Nicco Jubilee Park Ltd, a joint venture company between Tata Steel Ltd and Nicco Parks & Resorts Ltd started its operations from June 3, 2001.
