Jamshedpur, June 13: Jamshedpur Chess Academy (JCA), which has been temporarily closed for the students of city due to the outbreak of COVID-19, will be organising virtual classes/online coaching for its students from 1st July, 2020. This will create an environment of learning in the homes and gradually they will get acquainted with their coaches and classmates. It would be fun learning and one of the cheapest courses offered so that the underprivileged section is also benefited.
In view of COVID-19 the coaches have been working very hard to bring virtual/online classes and devote their time for this noble cause. GMs & IMs willingly involved in the pandemic to promote the game of chess for the weaker sections of the society of Jharkhand without any remuneration.
JCA is providing a complete chess school with a syllabus for beginner level, intermediate level, advance level and even for FIDE rated players with the aid of GMs, IMs and foreign influence.
GM Ankit Rajpara from Gujarat has become the “Brand Ambassador” of our academy who has helped to develop this intellectual game of chess in Jharkhand.
IM Tibor Karolyi from Hungary, a world famous chess book writer has become our “Curriculum Adviser”,
IM Atanu Lahari from Kolkata, a National Coach of Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand, Mongolia, the Coach of the Indian National Youth Team and the Continental representative of the education commission of FIDE has become our “Adviser”.
IM Poobesh Anand from Chennai has become our “Head Coach”.
Gurpreet Pal Singh from Delhi, a National Junior Champion and the coach of GM Sahaj Grover has become our “Head Coach”.
Ravi Kumar from Raipur, a professional coach and FIDE instructor is also in the coach panel.
Pritam Singh from Jamshedpur, the National U-25 Runner Up, Silver Medalist of Asian Cities Team Championship at Dubai (1992), ten times Bihar-Jharkhand Senior State Champion will also coach.
