Jamshedpur, Dec 14: Thieves stole cash and valuables worth several lakh from a household in Kasidih Line No 5 under Sakchi police station area in the wee hours of Saturday. They sprayed some chemical inside the house after which the family members fell unconscious.
In the morning, when the family members woke up, they found the house in disorder with cash and valuables missing.
The house belongs to Ramvriksha Prasad who lodged a police complaint. He said his family had returned home from a reception party.
During their absence, the thieves made away with the cash and valuables, he told cops.
