Jamshedpur, Aug 18: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar handed a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to Abhinav Chakravarty, son of Prashant Kumar, a resident of Zone Number 1B, Birsanagar, on Sunday, to pursue higher education. He said the state government was sensitive to the various basic needs of the people of Jharkhand. The financial help was given from the discretionary fund of Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
Abhinav is a chemical engineer and he is currently pursuing MBA course from XLRI Jamshedpur.
Others present on the occasion included Satyaprakash Singh, Deepak Parikh and Sriram Prasad.
