Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Jamshedpur organised a debate competition at Narbheram Hansraj English School.
The topic for the debate competition was “Use of mobile phones is a boon or a curse”.
The students of Andhra Bhakta Sri Ram Mandir Middle School, Utkrimit Middle School Saatchi and Narbheram Hansraj Gujarati High School participated in the competition.
Students from Std. 8 took part in the competition and presented their arguments for and against the topic.
Members of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Sudha Goyal and Dipti Singh judged the competition.
Speaking for the topic Saif Ali from Narbheram Hansraj was first, Akhilesh Kumar from Andhra Bhakta School was second and Muskan Kumari of Saradmoni School bagged the third spot.
The winners who spoke against the topic were Aman Raj Sharma from Narbheram School, Priya Dutta from Saradamoni School and Ananya Kumari from Rajkrit Jamshedpur School.
All the winners were given medals and certificates.
The club chairman Shweta Chand thanked all the participants and teachers and said that it is a learning experience for all the participants.
On this occasion the club C.L.C Passam Adesra, treasurer Manju Singh, Navita Prasad, Jyoti Bhagat, Malti Singh and others gave their invaluable time to make this event a huge success.
